Solar Charge Controllers
A solar charge controller is the core electronic component of a solar system. Its most important role is to optimize battery charging and power supply to loads based on the photovoltaic energy available throughout the day and across the seasons.
In most cases, a single solar charge controller is sufficient. However, as energy needs increase, additional solar charge controllers may need to be added to the system to manage the addition of more solar panels.
Depending on the size of a system, it is even common practice to integrate more than 12 solar charge controllers operating efficiently together.
Classic 150 (150SL): MPPT charge controller with solar input up to 150VDC, and up to 96A of charging at 12VDC (94A@24VDC or 86A@48VDC)
Classic 200 (200SL): MPPT charge controller with solar input up to 200VDC, and up to 79A of charging at 12VDC (78A@24VDC or 78A@48VDC)
Classic 250 (250SL): MPPT charge controller with solar input up to 250VDC, and up to 61A of charging at 12VDC (62A@24VDC or 55A@48VDC)
*All standard Classic controllers include Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection, come with a battery temperature sensor, can connect to the internet, and are 100% programmable and adjustable directly from the built-in control panel.
**The "SL" version of the Classic controllers includes Ground Fault protection only, and is 100% programmable and adjustable directly from the built-in control panel.
