THE IN-SHOP ASSEMBLY
Our Specialty
Our solar systems come pre-assembled based on your previously defined needs. Once the analysis of your system is complete, we physically assemble, program, and test all equipment in our workshop (see video below). When you pick up your system, we provide complete hands-on training covering preparation, installation, operation, and maintenance. From there, all that's left is to mount the unit to the wall and connect the main components together, following the diagrams and information provided (solar panels and batteries).
When applicable, we will support your electrician or installation technician through to commissioning and start-up.
Afterward, we follow the project throughout its operation until you feel fully comfortable running it independently.
An annual maintenance or monitoring service program will also be offered to you.
THE PRE-ASSEMBLED SYSTEMS
Solar Photovoltaic Equipment
A variety of solar charge controllers are available, covering multiple power ranges.
We offer 2 types:
MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
Current: 30A to 200A
Input voltage: 150 to 600VDC
Output voltage (batteries): 12, 24, or 48VDC
PWM (Pulse Width Modulation): 30A, 60VDC input and 12/24VDC output
All models are certified to Canadian standards and offer outstanding charging algorithms. Whatever the model, the CGC team will be able to recommend the one that best suits your needs.
Our inverters and inverter-chargers range from 300W to 10kW, depending on the model that best fits your specific situation. Depending on the scale of your needs, it is even possible to combine units to allocate more power and/or capacity. In a solar system, the inverter is what allows you to power your 120VAC and/or 120/240VAC equipment.
*All models offered are certified under Canadian regulations and comply with the CSA C22.2 No. 107.1-01 standard.
Shurflo diaphragm pumps (12VDC, 24VDC, 120VAC) and Grundfos SQE submersible pumps with soft-start (120VAC or 240VAC). Reliable solutions for all solar applications (cottages, off-grid homes, outfitters, pumping stations, etc.)

In the "60-cell" format, using Monocrystalline technology, certified to Canadian standards and Grade A quality (maximum, certified quality), the current rated power (2026) of such a solar panel ranges between 440W and 550W.
Camping Gadgets Canada is proud to offer its own 12 cu-ft refrigerator, operating on 12 or 24 volts direct current (VDC).
Other refrigerator models, as well as solar freezers (12-24VDC), are also available.
IOTA chargers/converters combine two devices in one:
Smart charger for 12V, 24V, and 48V batteries (with IQ control)
Reliable AC/DC converter for powering low-voltage loads
Versatile by design, IOTA DLS units work equally well for charging lead-acid batteries (AGM or flooded) as for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries.
Among the eligible types, ULC S636-certified PVC and CPVC vent components — specifically recognized and designed for high-efficiency condensing gas appliances (propane or natural gas) — are required by law for the exhaust and management of flue gases from JohnWood water heaters.
Always consult a certified professional installer to ensure a safe and code-compliant installation!
Caution:
There is no universal "pre-assembled S636 vent kit" that fits any gas appliance installation. A certified installer must configure the venting system based on the specific characteristics of the installation and its location. Contact us for more information and details.
Ideal for both cottages and private homes, the tankless water heater is a simple and HIGHLY EFFICIENT solution for domestic hot water production.
Our propane-powered models are perfectly suited to small and medium-sized cottages. The exact model will depend on the specific needs of your installation.
Please note: any propane-powered appliance must be installed by a licensed professional holding the recognized qualifications and certification.
